Relationship Manager – Merchant Banking (Investor Relations)

Location: Lower Parel, Mumbai
Employment Type: Full-time
Reporting To: Director

Position Overview

We are looking for a dynamic and relationship-driven professional to join our Investor Relations team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and managing relationships with wealth management firms, institutional investors, intermediaries, and high-net-worth clients to drive investments in Main Board and SME IPOs, as well as wealth management products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with Wealth Management firms, financial intermediaries, and distribution partners.
  • Develop and manage relationships with Ultra HNIs, HNIs, Family Offices, AIFs, AMCs, Financial Institutions, and Corporate Treasuries for investments in Main Board and SME IPOs.
  • Promote the company's IPO offerings and wealth management products to prospective investors and channel partners.
  • Coordinate with investors and intermediaries throughout the IPO subscription process and ensure timely follow-ups.
  • Prepare and present investment reports, presentations, and other communication materials for investors and stakeholders.
  • Participate in investor roadshows, webinars, client meetings, and networking events to enhance brand visibility and generate investor interest.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless execution of investor engagement activities.
  • Handle any other investor relations and business development activities assigned by the management.

Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in Investor Relations, Merchant Banking, Capital Markets, Wealth Management, or Financial Services.
  • Proven experience in managing relationships with Wealth Management firms, Family Offices, Ultra HNIs, HNIs, AIFs, AMCs, and other financial intermediaries.
  • Strong networking, relationship management, and client servicing skills.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and follow-up abilities.
  • Self-motivated, target-oriented, and capable of working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across teams and manage multiple stakeholders.

Merchant Banking Executive/ Senior Executive

Position Overview

We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Merchant Banking Executive to support the execution of capital market transactions and regulatory compliance activities. The role offers hands-on exposure to Main Board IPOs, SME IPOs, ESOPs, Rights Issues, Buy-backs, Open Offers, NCDs, and other Merchant Banking assignments, while working closely with clients, regulators, legal advisors, and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the execution of Main Board IPOs and SME IPOs, including preparation and coordination of offer documents, due diligence, and regulatory filings.
  • Support Merchant Banking assignments related to ESOPs, Rights Issues, Preferential Issues, Buy-back Offers, Open Offers, Delisting, and Takeover Code compliances.
  • Assist in the issuance and compliance of Non-Convertible Debentures (NCDs) and other capital market transactions.
  • Coordinate with clients, legal advisors, auditors, registrars, stock exchanges, depositories, and other intermediaries for smooth execution of assignments.
  • Conduct financial analysis, industry research, peer benchmarking, and due diligence as part of transaction execution.
  • Prepare presentations, transaction documents, checklists, MIS reports, and other regulatory documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with SEBI Regulations, Companies Act, Stock Exchange requirements, and other applicable laws.
  • Liaise with regulatory authorities and stakeholders for obtaining approvals and completing statutory filings.
  • Maintain transaction records, client documentation, and internal databases.
  • Stay updated on changes in SEBI regulations, capital market developments, and regulatory frameworks.
  • Perform any other Merchant Banking and Financial Advisory assignments entrusted by the management.

Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Finance, Business Administration, Economics, Law, or a related discipline.
  • 0–3 years of relevant experience in Merchant Banking, Investment Banking, Capital Markets, Corporate Finance, Company Secretarial Practice, or Financial Services.
  • Basic understanding of SEBI Regulations, Companies Act, Capital Markets, and Merchant Banking activities.
  • Strong analytical, documentation, and drafting skills.
  • Good communication, coordination, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook).
